Swallow the city, outgrow your rivals, and stay alive long enough to become the biggest hole in the arena.
Here's a quick look at the game:
What is Hole Arena?
Hole Arena is a browser-based arena game where you control a moving black hole on a city map. You begin small and can only absorb light street objects, loose props, and other tiny targets. As your hole grows, it can pull in heavier objects, larger structures, and eventually smaller opponents.
Every round is a race for size. The pressure comes from two directions at once: you need to keep eating to expand, and you also need to avoid holes that are already bigger than yours. The match shifts fast. Safe spaces at the start can turn dangerous once other players reach a size that lets them sweep whole sections of the map.
How to Play Hole Arena
Your first job is simple: find dense clusters of small objects and clear them quickly. Early growth matters because size decides what you can swallow. Small gains open better routes, and better routes lead to faster growth. Instead of drifting across empty space, move through areas packed with benches, signs, trash cans, cars, and similar targets that fit your current size.
As you expand, your options change. A path that was useless a few seconds ago may suddenly become the best lane on the map because it now contains objects you can absorb in one pass. Keep checking what your current size allows. The more efficiently you chain targets together, the less time you waste turning or backtracking.
Other players are part of the resource race. A larger hole can erase your run instantly, so you should treat nearby threats as moving danger zones. Do not force a duel when your size advantage is unclear. When you finally become large enough to pressure others, attack from open angles and keep moving through food-rich areas so your growth does not stall during the chase.
Late in a round, the map usually feels tighter because more players are large enough to contest the same high-value zones. At that stage, clean movement becomes more important than risky cuts through traffic. You want to stay fed, keep escape routes open, and punish smaller holes that wander too close.

Tips of Hole Arena
- Spend your opening seconds in dense areas with many small objects instead of crossing empty roads.
- Break away early when a larger hole enters your lane; losing a few targets is better than losing the whole round.
- Revisit parts of the map after growing, because objects that were too large before may now be easy pickups.
- Chase smaller rivals only when the route stays profitable; a long pursuit through empty space can slow your growth.
