Real War: Not Fake

Steer an advancing army, fire through bonus gates, collect weapons, avoid danger, and preserve enough firepower to defeat each level boss.

Here's a quick look at the game:

Real War: Not Fake is an action runner where your army advances through a battlefield while you decide which route gives the squad the best chance of reaching the boss. Soldiers attack targets automatically, leaving you to steer left and right, avoid hazards, collect weapons, and position the group in front of useful bonus gates.

Choose Your Route Before the Army Reaches It

Each level pushes the squad forward automatically. Your main control is horizontal movement: on browser versions, hold the left mouse button and drag left or right to steer, while touch devices use the same left-and-right dragging motion.

Route choice matters because enemies, obstacles, weapons, and bonus gates appear ahead of the advancing soldiers. Moving toward a reward without checking the approach can expose the squad to danger, so look beyond the nearest target and choose a lane that preserves as many troops as possible.

Shoot Bonus Gates to Improve the Reward

Your soldiers fire automatically at valid targets in front of them. This includes bonus gates, and sustained fire can increase a gate's value before your army crosses it.

Because the squad keeps moving forward, positioning early gives the soldiers more time to shoot the gate. Waiting until the army is almost beside a useful gate shortens the firing window and can leave you with a smaller bonus. Line up with the gate you want as soon as the route is clear, then avoid unnecessary side-to-side movement while your troops attack it.

Keep Enough Firepower for the Boss

Weapons collected along the course strengthen the squad's attack, while enemy fire and dangerous sections can reduce the army before the final encounter. The objective is not simply to reach the end of the track; you need enough surviving firepower to defeat the boss and complete the level.

That makes survival and army strength closely connected. A route with a useful bonus or weapon may be worth taking when the approach is safe, but losing too many soldiers on the way can weaken the final attack. Favor paths that improve the squad without exposing it to avoidable losses.

    Victories, Coins, and Ranking

Defeating a boss completes the level and awards coins. Real War: Not Fake also tracks player progress through a ranking system, so continuing through successful levels determines how far you can advance compared with other players.

The core loop stays focused on the same decisions: steer the army, choose the stronger route, fire on bonus gates before crossing them, collect useful weapons, and reach each boss with enough soldiers left to finish the fight.
